Job Overview:
Responsible for compiling and updating media planning documents, event work back schedules and budget reports for identified events; providing pertinent information to CMO, brand, CoE, sales and finance teams to ensure consistent staff communication, to create efficiency between departments and to ensure deliverables are on-time, within scope and within budget. Secure project resource availability and allocation. Manage sample planning/forecasting, inventory and shipping logistics. Reconcile budgets for each event.

Job Responsibilities:

Works with Senior Media Manager and Senior Communications Manager in strategy development, planning, execution and amplification of national best in class media campaigns for the US
Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with many internal stakeholders, including: brand marketing, sales, creative, trade marketing, packaging, research, digital marketing, and finance
Collaborate and integrate with other Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure alignment and integration of all marketing activities
Ensure strong liaison between Spin Master external agencies and partners with internal marketing teamsKey point of contact with media agencies: weekly status calls, media briefings, development and execution of integrated media plans, media landscape updates, etc.
Build strong relationships with key network partners (such as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network); negotiate value add and assist in developing integrated marketing partnerships
Manage, track, and report US media budgets (includes processing invoices, creating POs, and managing cash flow/budget control reports)
Review, maintain, and disseminate weekly media flight plans
Monitor and analyze media in order to ensure campaign achievement
Ratings analysis for Spin Master entertainment properties


Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or Business
3 year experience in Media, Marketing or Advertising; Broadcast experience is an asset
Project Management experience; with proven ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a very fast paced environment
An ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced environment
Superior financial, communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint – SAP is an asset
