Tourism Kamloops is seeking a dynamic individual who demonstrates exceptional creative talent in both graphic and web design. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Brand you are a key member of the marketing team, and will play a collaborative and integral role in developing and maintaining brand mandates with all of our marketing assets. You have an impeccable attention to creative detail to maintain consistency, direction and strength of brand in all of our digital and print communications. We invite critical thinking and the ability to create laterally and inventively.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Producing marketing collateral from collaborative concept to completion within our established brand guidelines
Maintain a consistent visual brand identity and direction throughout all digital and print platforms
Development and execution of a large industry website
Design for print and digital media using Adobe Creative Suite
Oversee printing requirements from development to production
Develop content, digital media materials, and web-based applications including web pages and interactive design, design elements and multimedia
Developing design layouts of communications such as newsletters, brochures and event support materials.
Ability to brainstorm and collaborate as a conceptual thinker and team player
Translate marketing objectives into compelling designs for marketing material
Monitoring global design trends and impacts on design and production
University Degree in Graphic Design or related discipline
Minimum 3+ years graphic design experience
Understanding of branding, concept development, web design, social media and print/pre-press production
Proven track record of developing great content
Can demonstrate advanced knowledge of Adobe CS6
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and illustration is an asset
Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
Understanding of web metrics and digital analytics
Passion for digital marketing
