McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire an eCommerce Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in a contract role. This position can be located at either our Mississauga or London location.

The eCommerce Marketing Assistant will collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to execute and evaluate digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives that bring the vision of McCormick brands to life in digital. The individual in this role will provide cross functional teams with support at critical digital touchpoints across the customer lifecycle including eCommerce, content and web. This individual will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of digital campaigns, digital projects and eCommerce platforms.

Maintain and audit ecommerce product descriptions and key features for new products, adding new product information and editing existing information.
Manage new product additions and ensure a smooth process flow and meet deadlines
Ensuring consistent product information is pushed through all channels
Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners on a variety of tasks, including marketing initiatives and promotional timelines
Responsible for the dispatching of email marketing campaigns
Monitor owned platform performance and contribute meaningful insights that will optimize performance and engagement with understanding of SEO best practices
Provide accurate reporting and analysis to digital marketing manager using strong Google Analytics skills (Google Analytics certification is required)
Work together with the digital marketing manager to ensure all tasks are done in accordance with CPD business objectives and standards
Support in research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business

Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
2 years of hands-on experience in Digital Marketing or eCommerce
Preferred but not required – eCommerce experience with pure-play and omni-channel retailers, experience with data management platforms such as GS1, experience with DMPs, social media, email marketing, media buying, digital analytics, SEO, or SEM
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
Fast learner, passion for digital and effective communications skills
