We are looking for an experienced Digital Campaign Management professional to join our Campaign Designer practice. The Digital Campaign Designer plays a key role in the design, build, implementation and continuous improvement of a growing suite of digital experiences using the SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, Real Time Decision Management and Marketing Automation tools. These capabilities will be leveraged across the organization.

The Campaign Designer operates in a cross-functional team, working in an agile and collaborative manner alongside marketers, data analysts, business analysts, business strategists and testers. The Campaign Designer is specifically responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining campaign logic in the SAS CI Studio tools aligned to the business campaign plans, learning and measurement objectives and cross-channel contact experiences developed by the team.

Key skills and experience:
Proven analytical skills and programming experience are a must
Experience using campaign management tools such as SAS CI Studio, IBM Unica, Siebel Campaign, Infor/epiphany to drive outbound and/or inbound campaign activiti
Quick learner, ability to understand and bridge between business needs the underlying logic and data

More about Accountabilities:
Designs, configures and maintains campaign logic in SAS CI Studio, collaborating with technical teams to ensure optimal performance of campaigns.
Collaborates in an agile team to understand business objectives and develop campaign solutions that deliver best in class, engaging and highly relevant experiences
Develops thorough understanding of data sources available for campaigns to ensure the quality and relevance of experiences are optimized.
Thoroughly documents campaign design assumptions and data requirements and facilitates iterative walk throughs to ensure alignment with business needs
Partners with technical teams to align technical delivery to business needs
Responsible for developing and maintaining a library of reusable campaign logic which can be leveraged across interaction channels and business scenarios
Contributes to building a base of best practices and a set of best ways to design campaigns to meet business objectives
Develops expertise in the SAS CI Studio and Real Time Decision Management and Marketing Automation capabilities through a progression of formal training, mentoring and on the job experience.
Contributes to overall campaign project activities by providing accurate effort estimates, providing regular updates on progress and issues, taking accountability for milestone commitments and collaborating to resolve team challenges.
Analyzes risk and impact of change to ensure testing activities are appropriately aligned
Contributes to the evolution of business campaign processes to continuously improve efficiency and agility of the team.
Understands privacy and permissions framework and ensures all campaign activity meets compliance requirements

Other requirements:
Practical experience in running and monitoring campaigns. Understanding of Marketing Automation and Campaign development cycle
Experience with analytics tools like SAS and/or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working in Financial Services with an understanding of wealth and protection products in the Canadian marketplace
University degree in a related field, 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Notes/Unique Requirements:
This role will be based either out of our Waterloo or Toronto downtown locations. Travel between locations is required approximately once per week.
