You understand the importance and power of social media and have a flare for creative writing. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, Trimac is looking for a savvy candidate who loves to pick up a video camera, pen, or post a blog with unique ideas on how to engage our teams and our customers.


Reporting to Human Resources to assist in the development of Trimac’s culture and Employee Value Proposition;

Development Trimac’s online persona and branding;
Support the development and implementation of company strategies, including cultural branding development, communications plans, and key messages;
Work with the CEO and Executives on presentations, talking points, and videos;
Assist with the development and implementation of event plans such as open houses, press conferences, town halls, as required;
Writing of articles & stories and the production & publication of videos to tell Trimac’s story;
Provide communications advice and support during times of emergency and crisis communication activity;
Other duties as required.


Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations
A trained communications professional with strong written, verbal, and presentations skills;
Skilled in creative or graphic design for publication of professional quality materials;
Ability to think strategically, weigh issues, and recommend effective solutions;
Ability to write in many styles for a variety of audiences, including storytelling and producing engaging content for digital and social media;
Experience in posting blogs, YouTube videos, and developing corporate culture and branding;
A team player – responsible for building rapport with team members and internal business partners;
A customer service focus;
Ability to work under the pressure with tight deadlines;
Must be flexible and able to travel and work overtime when necessary.
