Full-Time Account Executive
Job Description
Venture Publishing, the publisher of Alberta Venture and Alberta Oil magazines, is seeking an experienced and high energy account executive to help us meet our exciting growth potential as we celebrate our 15th year of publishing. This opportunity is in our Calgary office.
Major responsibility: to build relationships and serve the needs of our advertising clients for both Alberta Venture and Alberta Oil, our award winning business magazines and websites (including www.albertavnture.com and www.albertaoilmagazine.com). This position requires a results-oriented and professional sales performer who will service existing accounts, prospect for new clients and develop new business to grow advertising and sponsorship revenues. The appropriate candidate should have a 3+ years experience with selling intangible products, preferably in the advertising industry. Post-secondary education and a knowledge of the Calgary-area business community is an asset.
